# Trip search

Trip search: a free component, built on your design tokens, to use at the top of a travel app or booking site, for starting a search for a stay or a flight. Where, when and who for a trip: a stays or flights switch, a destination field with suggestions, a two-month date range, and steppers for adults, children and pets.

States: stays, flights, suggestions open, range chosen, check-in only, stepper at minimum, hover, focus.

Accessibility: The destination is a combobox with a listbox (arrows move, Enter picks, Escape closes); each day is a button named with its full date and aria-pressed on check-in and check-out, the range summary is a live region, and stepper buttons disable at their limits.
