# Toast stack

Toast stack: a free component, built on your design tokens, to use for short confirmations and background progress. Short notices that stack in a corner: done with an undo, in progress with a bar, and failed with a retry that keeps the person's work.

States: success with undo, in progress, error with retry, dismissed, enter motion.

Accessibility: Success and progress are status regions and the error is an alert; dismiss buttons have names; the entry motion uses the engine's toast tokens, which turn off under reduced motion.
