# Share sheet

Share sheet: a free component, built on your design tokens, to use in a social or media app, when someone taps Share on a post. A share sheet shown open over a photo: recent people with their photos you can pick (picking one turns the bottom into a message and Send), apps as quiet round icon buttons, and a copy link row that confirms when the link is copied.

States: open, person selected, several selected, sent, link copied, hover, focus.

Accessibility: The sheet is a labelled modal dialog; recent people are native checkboxes in a fieldset, the apps are named buttons, and "Link copied" and "Sent" are announced in a status region.
