# Home controls

Home controls: a free component, built on your design tokens, to use in a smart home app's main screen, for switching lights, heating, locks and speakers room by room. Smart home controls: rooms as chips, and device tiles that switch on and off, with a brightness slider for lights, a dial-like thermostat stepper, a lock and a speaker with volume.

Prompt: Add the OpenDesigner component home-controls to this project: https://opendesigner.dev/library/r/home-controls.html. Keep its markup and states; map its --ds-* variables to my tokens.

States: on, off, room filtered, at limit, hover, focus.

Accessibility: Rooms are a radio group; each device is a toggle button with aria-pressed whose name reads the device and its state, sliders are named range inputs, and the thermostat buttons say the temperature they will set.
