# Follow suggestions

Follow suggestions: a free component, built on your design tokens, to use in a social feed or after sign-up, for finding people to follow. "People you may know" as a sideways row of cards, each with the person's photo, name and handle, the mutual friends behind the suggestion, a follow button that turns into Following, and a way to remove the card.

States: follow, following, follow back, removed, all caught up, hover, focus.

Accessibility: Follow buttons are toggles with aria-pressed and the person's name; removing a card says so in a polite live region and moves focus to the next card's remove button.
